Our company is looking for a sales representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. What does an outside sales representative do?

An outside sales representative meets and sells to customers in the field. While a general sales representative may communicate primarily over the phone or through the internet, an outside sales representative spends the majority of their time holding in-person meetings with customers. Those in this position are generally responsible for the following tasks: Scheduling and conducting face-to-face meetings with potential clients or customers

Monitoring and reaching sales goals as set by the sales team leader, Networking and maintaining strong relationships with previous customers, Highlighting the most appealing product or service features to sell to customers, Developing customer service skills.
